This one feels like a daydream to me. A whole crowd of koi swirls together here, some white with coral-red scales, some red and white, a few pale ones drifting at the edges, all turning around each other in a slow circle.
The water melts into soft blues, greens, golds and lilac, so the fish seem to float in color more than in a pond. I've made art my whole life, and I still love the moment when the paint blurs and something gentle like this appears.
