This is the original painting, the only one in the world. It's a large, wide sheet, and in person the soft washes and white paper showing through give it a bright, airy feel.
A whole garden spreads across the page. Two big pink stargazer lilies with freckled petals anchor each side, surrounded by yellow roses, pink roses and pale blue roses. Little sunflowers, white daisies with gold centers, sprays of bluebonnets and clusters of lavender buds fill the spaces in between, all set in soft greens. A tiny blue butterfly floats in the upper right corner.
This one is pure joy for me. I wanted it to feel like walking into a room full of fresh flowers.
