Three koi meet in the middle of a deep blue pond, heads almost touching. Their pearly white bodies carry warm patches of red and orange, one of them freckled with tiny gold and dark spots, and their fins look almost like glass.
Up in the corner, a glow of yellow and red light breaks through the blue. You can see my signature in the lower left of the painting. To me it feels bright, glossy and full of warmth.
